Single motherhood taught me more in 5 years than I’ve learned in my 47 years total.
- God’s promises are true
- You can overcome more than you know
- God can use you exactly where you are—even in the worst circumstances you can imagine
- There are others that need to hear your story
- You can make real, deeply touching, friendships online
- Focusing on the blessings we have before us is the best way to rebuild a life
- Changing your mindset changes everything
- Getting to know who you are at your core, and what you can handle . . . is freeing
I want to take these lessons forward. To continue to reach out to women and encourage them—encourage you beyond your current circumstances—that God’s plan is exactly where you are.
But it takes focus not to miss it.
As I told you in my last post, my journey has changed and my writing will reflect that. I got married in May and am no longer a single mom. My entire ministry is about to change.
I’ve still got a lot to say.
My focus won’t be on my walk as a single mom and the specific lessons I’ve learned. Quite honestly, I feel I’ve said all I have to say about that. I pray that it’s been helpful, and uplifting, and let you know that you weren’t alone as you walked beside me. I’ll continue to have those articles available to those who need them.
My focus will be on what’s beyond that. How the lessons God gave me (and is giving you now) can be used for a bigger purpose. How He clarified my voice, my path, and my dream in life. How He set me on a new path: one that is encouraging, and creative, and wonderful for my soul.
If you’d like to continue on this journey with me and see where it leads to next, I’d love to have you by my side. I’ll continue blogging about faith. But also, I’ll blog with a heart to inspire women to be who they are, where they are, in order to find their true purpose.
I’m also using my design skills in something I’ve wanted to do my entire life. I’ll have journals, and notebooks, and other helpful things I’ve designed with the idea that women who plan and reflect on where they’ve been and what they want in the future, live out their purpose more successfully.
I won’t simply transfer your email to my new list. I don’t think that’s honest.
So, if you’d like to continue, there are a few options for you:
If you only want to hear from me when I blog, you can sign up here.
If you want to be included on everything I’m working on, including the things I’m creating, my blog, and a discount that’s good for life, you can sign up here.
If you only want to be included in the creative things I’m working on (and the discount that’s good for life) you can sign up here.
If you need to part ways, hold on. There’s a little more coming.
I have one final gift I’m preparing for you. I’ll send ONE final email as The Christian Single Mom soon, with the gift. You don’t want to miss this so keep an eye out in your mailbox.
PS. My new ministry launches on October 1st. So, I’ll get the free gift to you before I move on to that, I promise. Keep a look out! 🙂
